Reviving Ancient Grains

Founded in 2023, Happysun Foods was born from a vision to bring the incredible health benefits of millets back into everyday life, particularly in Northeast India where nutritious regional snack alternatives were scarce.

Our journey began when our founders discovered how these ancient supergrains, once a staple in Indian households, had been forgotten. With their exceptional nutritional profile and sustainable farming practices, millets deserved a comeback - but with authentic regional flavors.

Today, we proudly incorporate traditional Assamese and North Eastern roasting techniques with 70% less oil than commercial options. Every product celebrates our heritage while promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Incubated under ICAR-IIMR (Indian Institute of Millet Research), we're not just making snacks - we're leading a millet revolution.
